Procedures
for SSH Activation For those uses who have purchased a plan with telnet access
you must complete the following process prior to activation:
Fax
a picture ID to 877-726-4761 Acceptable
ID's are: State issued drivers license, passport,
or other state/federal issued ID.
Must
also provide proof of experience as a SSH user via
email to support.
Once
received your ID will be submitted through our security
verification process which may include National/Internal
ID Verification per the issuing party. We also reserve
the right to submit the ID to the Federal Bureau
of Investigation for validation, and outstanding
violations. We take SSH access very seriously. The
verification can take up to 72 hours.
Telnet Access is only available using SSH.
Any user gaining Telnet Access must be an experience user. In
the event that such user causes any server crashes/damages,
their Telnet Access privileges will be revoked and denied for
any future Telnet use.
The SSH option allows you to manage secure telnet access
to your account. Much of the functionality of telneting
is handled through the File Manager option in the Control Panel.
However, there are instances when telneting (outside the operation
of the File Manager) is required to get the job done.
In order to have

only way to gain telnet access to your account is by using SSH
secure telnet software that must be loaded on your computer.
The recommended software is Van Dyke Technologies’ Secure CRT.

The
SSH Option allows you to upload the RSA (Rivest, Shamir, Adleman)
key generated on your computer by the SSH software to the server
on which your site resides. Once completed, you will have
secure telnet access to the site.
