1. An interface to install your own, purchased from one of the above providers.


What's the difference?
For companies who want to truly create a professional presence you will want purchase your own certificate. The certificate itself would be branded with your website name which lends to the credibility of what your customer is ordering or submitting.

How to use your own certificate
You must first purchase your SSL certificate from one of the many authorized services. From our experience the following are the most used:

GeoTrust (Starting at $149)
Thawte (Starting at $199)
Versign (Starting at $349)

The least expensive one we have found is:

Instantssl.com (Starting at $49)

To generate your request for the certificate go to your control panel. The Secure Server option provides you with instructions for setting up this option.
